Bobbie Charles take home two wins at the 2023 Australian Beauty Industry Awards
We are thrilled to share an exciting update from this year’s Australian Beauty Industry Awards (ABIA) held on August 27th, where the Bobbie Charles team were joined by almost 700 industry aficionados gathered at the iconic The Star in Sydney, to celebrate beauty at its finest.
We’re elated to be bringing home another double triumph, with not one, but two prestigious National wins from the 2023 ABIA’s: awarded QLD Spa/Clinic/Salon of the Year 2023 (5 treatment rooms or more) and Australia’s Best Salon/Spa/Clinic Team of the Year.
The Australian Beauty Industry Awards (ABIA’s) is the most trusted national award platform for the beauty and aesthetic industry. Providing a benchmark of excellence across a wide range of categories within the industry, the ABIA’s recognise the best salons, spas, and clinics across the country.
In its 13th year, Linda Woodhead the Founder and CEO of the Mocha Group, has been steering the ship of beauty excellence, hosting the awards since 2012. Honouring and uplifting the beauty and makeup industry’s crème de la crème, setting a benchmark of achievement and innovation.

Being nominated across seven competitive categories with a range of incredible salons and industry professionals from across the country, we were elated to take home the win for Best Salon Team in Australia and Salon of the Year in Queensland after being finalists for the past three years. We pride ourselves on continuously setting a high standard, so the Bobbie Charles team are so grateful to be recognised both nationally and globally as innovators in the industry.
Amidst the glitz and glamour, there’s another remarkable highlight to mention. This year’s ABIA’s witnessed a thrilling surge in award nominees, up by a massive 40% compared to last year. This not only reflects the industry’s vitality but also its relentless pursuit of excellence and innovation. It also goes to show just how contested these illustrious awards are!
