The brand we love and use in clinic is Elleebana, they have worked on all their products for many years to ensure the safest results.

Our lash lift is designed to mimic the effect of an eyelash curler which holds for weeks. It styles your lashes to curve upwards from the base, leaving them looking longer, and your eyes more open. All of our of lash lifts are finished with a customised tint making your eyelashes look darker, thicker, and fuller. It’s particularly striking on those with naturally blonde or fair lashes. We use Belmacil in clinic for all your tinting needs. As this impressive company have a variety of different colours that allows us to mix and personalise tints for each individual client. If you prefer the darkest lash line possible or a slightly softer, more subtle look, we have you completely covered.

Something we really pride ourselves in, is looking after your natural lash health by keeping its integrity. We do this by using two different treatments throughout your service. We use Re-Gen by Elleebana mixed through your tint which is packed with amino acids and peptides, which are carefully selected to mimic the function in human hair. The Re-Gen formula also contains antioxidants, essential fatty acids, flower extracts, bark extracts, root extracts and fruit extracts essential for optimal lash health.

We then finish off the service with Elleeplex, which is packed with our favourite hair care needs like keratin and biotin. We recommend you use this guy for aftercare!

Lash Lift Correction:

We will never comprise your lash health when doing this treatment. Unfortunately, we often see clients from other salons with severely damaged or compromised natural lashes from a Lash Lift gone wrong. This can be due to a lack of experience and/or poor product choice. This service is ideal for you if you are having Eyeliner Cosmetic Tattooing and your natural lashes need to be shifted for access, having a full set of lash extensions applied and your natural lash lines grows in all different directions (i.e. curly lashes) or someone that is wanting to soften the curl or revert back to their natural lashes. In this treatment we can either ‘relax’ your curl or re-lift your lashes. We will do a thorough consultation to see what is required.

Results:

By styling your lashes to curve upwards from the base, a lash lift and tint results in longer looking lashes to enhance your natural lashes.

The process of a lash lift and tint is completely customisable to each unique hair thickness and texture, so even for those clients who have dense, straight and/or stubborn lashes, we can figure out the best formulation to suit you and your lash type.

Treatment Time & Frequency:

We allow 60 minutes for the treatment and it’s performed every 4 – 6 weeks.

  • Allergies to silicone
  • Chemotherapy or radiation (you will have to wait 6 months)
  • Allergy to brown hair dye ingredient paraphenylenediamine (we will not tint)
  • Recent eye surgery i.e., blepharoplasty (you will have to wait 6 months)
  • Cosmetic tattooing on the eye area (must wait 4 weeks after your tattoo is healed)

Expected Side Effects:

  • Clients can experience dry or watery eyes during the treatment but it’s rare

Potential Risks:

  • Redness and inflammation around the eye area if there’s an allergic reaction. If this occurs, apply a cold compress to soothe and seek medical advice. Be sure to let us know of any adverse reactions or any concerns

Pre-Treatment Requirements:

  • Do not apply lash growth serum for 48 hours before your treatment
  • You must wait 4 weeks following your last eyeliner cosmetic tattooing perfecting session before we lift your lashes
  • No waterproof mascara 3 days prior to your treatment as it can be very difficult to remove and can affect your lift result

Post-Treatment Requirements: 

  • Hot water, humidity and steam can affect your freshly lifted lashes within the first 24 hours, this is the time that the keratin treatment is being fully absorbed into the lashes. Avoid hot tubs, saunas, hot yoga or excessive sweating for the first 24 hours.
  • Avoid LED on the face for 48 hours after treatment (LED can be done on the same day if performed beforehand).
  • Avoid applying lash growth serum for the first 48 hours after treatment.
  • We strongly suggest using the Elleeplex aftercare serum morning and night on your freshly lifted lashes to extend the life of your lift and maintain the integrity of your natural lashes.

The system we use in clinic is Elleebana and is a 3-step process. When the ‘Lift’ (step 1) is applied to the lashes, the chemical process breaks down the bonds within each hair follicle, allowing them to morph and move into a new shape. Following this, the setting lotion (step 2) is applied allowing the hair bond to remodel locking it into the new shape. Then we apply Belmacil tint (step 3) to the lashes at the end of the treatment to restore moisture. This treatment is totally relaxing and there is no discomfort throughout.

We offer a range of customised lift options to cater for all preferences. From a tight curl to a slight lift. This is why our consultations are so thorough, so we ensure we get it right every time.

Your lift will last anywhere between 4-6 weeks. From about the 4-week mark you may start to notice a few straight new lashes growing through. We recommend booking in for a re-lift at about the 4-week mark to keep your lashes looking fresh.

Whilst extremely rare, reactions are possible when undergoing any cosmetic treatment. If you are prone to allergies, we recommend having a patch test performed before your treatment to avoid a reaction.

We have safely performed many lash lifts on expectant or breast-feeding mothers, but as a precaution, please always check with your GP or Obstetrician.

As it’s not applied to the skin, the risk of sensitivity is minimised, but due to the hormonal fluctuations whilst pregnant or breastfeeding your hair cortex can change, making them more porous than normal.

This in fact means the product has difficulty processing and may lead to an underwhelming result – but with our knowledge and consultation, we can manage all expectations.

We highly encourage clients to have the tint applied to nourish and define your lashes. If you are concerned about the tint being too dark, we can work with you to customise it to a suitable shade.

Most clients think their lashes are much shorter than what they are. In most cases, the tips of our lashes are usually much lighter making them harder to see with the naked eye. Our technicians will be able to determine your suitability for this treatment at your consultation and will guide you accordingly. If you think your lashes may be too short, we recommend our Eyenvy Peptide and/or extensions. This peptide is fine to use while your lashes are lifted.

Absolutely! We recommend the Elleevate Lash Lift Mascara and it can be removed with cool water. This mascara is created to be used even the same day of the lift.
