Treatment time and frequency:

Our rejuvenating fire and ice facial with medical grade LED gives you 45 minutes on the treatment bed to unwind. We recommend performing them once a month and/or before a big event.

Contraindications:

  • Injectables, laser, chemical peels or skin needling on the treatment area within the last 2 weeks
  • Use of topical or oral prescription strength acne medication within the last 6 months
  • Active bacterial, viral, or fungal infection (including cold sores)
  • Severe rosacea or acne
  • Sunburn or irritated skin
  • Open or healing wounds
  • Infectious disease

LED Contraindications:

  • If pregnant, we will require your consent for 830nm wavelength LED prior to treatment
  • Cosmetic tattooing within the last 72 hours
  • Epilepsy

Pre-Treatment Requirements:

  • Please discontinue use of any Vitamin A or resurfacing ingredients (i.e., glycolic) products 3 days prior.
  • Avoid sun exposure to the area being treated for 2 weeks prior and ensure you are applying a Broad-Spectrum SPF daily even if it’s cloudy.

Post-Treatment Requirements:

  • Treat your skin gently (no wash cloths or facial sponges as to not exfoliate the skin).
  • Do not use AHAs, BHAs, topical steroids or physical exfoliants for 1 week post treatment.
  • Ensure you thoroughly sanitise all makeup brushes/sponges and change your pillowcase, so you are not at risk of infection and/or breakout.
  • No excessive exercise, sauna, steam rooms or hot yoga for 24 hours as it will sting the skin, cause irritation and excessive dehydration.
  • Do not expose the skin to the sun or tanning devices.
  • Avoid self-tanning your face for 1 week post treatment.

There is minimal to zero downtime with this facial, apart from your skin appearing slightly flushed after (a healthy response). All in all, your skin will look healthy and glowing immediately post treatment.

Yes. All iS CLINICAL treatments and skin care products are non-systemic, which means they do not penetrate through the deeper layers of the skin into the bloodstream. They are therefore considered safe for pregnant and breastfeeding mums, as well as those undergoing cancer treatment.
