BC BROW SCULPT

We begin our signature BC Brow Sculpt with a thorough consultation then by mapping out your new eyebrow shape using your facial features and natural eyebrow hair growth direction, creating a personalised shape. This allows you to see the brow design in full before we commence the treatment. Eyebrows are then sculpted using multiple techniques including precision Brow Code wax, tweezing and trimming. After we remove the tint a soothing cream is applied to calm and hydrate the freshly waxed skin. Your perfectly handcrafted eyebrows are then finished with a brow gel to secure all hairs perfectly into place.

BC CUSTOMIZED BROW TINT

Bobbie Charles Brow Clinic in Brisbane offers premium tint colour customizations that come in a variety of colours, which can be mixed and matched to create something unique to you. In Clinic we only use the leading industry tint brand, Belmacil, that has proven long lasting results. All of our technicians are highly skilled and have undergone advanced training in tinting and colour customization. 

Whether your brows are transparent blonde, medium brown or dark in colour, eyebrow tinting can work for everyone. BC Tint Colour Customization is applied to your eyebrows to accentuate the shape and create a fuller, fluffier more defined brow. 

Eyebrow tinting takes only 10-15 minutes and lasts up to 1 week on the skin and up to 3 weeks on the hair.

BC BROW LIGHTENING

Feel like your natural eyebrow colour is too dark? Have you had a bad brow tinting experience? Bobbie Charles has the magic treatment to undo what you thought couldn’t be undone! BC Brow Lightening allows you to relax and take time out on our lush treatment bed for 45 mins whilst your brow colour lightens by up to 3 shades. Especially perfect for complementing hair colour changes, at Bobbie Charles we have a brow colour option to suit all.

Service information

Treatment Time:

These treatments are generally performed every 3 – 4 weeks. We allow is 15+ minutes for the treatment. 

Can be combined with: 

Ideal for: 

  • Anyone looking to improve the overall look of their eyebrows
  • Clients who are growing out their eyebrows and wanting more fullness
  • Adding texture to Cosmetically Tattooed eyebrows (must be completely healed, 4 weeks post)
  • Clients with sparse or thinning eyebrows should try our Henna Brow Stain instead of BC Signature Brow

Contraindications:

  • Accutane or topical acne medications for example Epiduo, as this thins the skin (you must wait 6 months after completion)
  • Prescription strength Retin A (must be stopped 5 days before treatment)
  • Anti-wrinkle or filler injections (you must wait a minimum of 7 days) 
  • Skin treatments such as peels, needling or lasers etc (you must wait a minimum of 7 days) 
  • Chemotherapy or radiation (you must wait a minimum 6 months)
  • Allergy to brown hair dye ingredient paraphenylenediamine (client’s tinting only)
  • Excessive sunburn to the area as this can cause trauma to the skin 
  • Recent eye surgery i.e. Blepharoplasty 

Pre-Treatment Requirements:

  • Where possible; do not tweeze / trim your eyebrows prior to or between visits with us, this allows us to remove hairs in the same growth phase and get the best possible outcome for your brow design
  • No self-tanning products should be used on the face for 3 days before your treatment, this can alter the colour of brow tint
  • You must have not had Brow Cosmetic Tattooing in the past 4 weeks
  • Do not apply Retin-A, AHA or exfoliate around the eyebrow area for 72 hours before your treatment

Expected Side Effects:

  • Slight redness may be present from the areas that were waxed and/or plucked. This usually subsides within 2 hours.

Potential Risks:

  • Stinging, swelling, burning or flaking of skin in the brow area that has been treated. If this occurs, apply a cold compress to soothe and seek medical advice. Be sure to let us know of any adverse reactions or any concerns
  • Reaction / allergy to brown dyes may become evident after a brow tinting treatment
  • Breakout in the waxed area of the eyebrows (we recommend adding on the 830nm Heallite LED Light Therapy for those concerned)

Post-Treatment Requirements: 

Now that you have experienced your brow treatment, there are a few simple steps for you to follow:

  • Avoid excessively hot showers, bathing, spas, saunas or sweating for 24 hours. Keep your eyebrows dry where possible to get long last out of your colour
  • Avoid touching the eyebrow area as this may risk break out on the freshly waxed skin
  • Do not apply Retin-A, AHA or exfoliate around the eyebrow area for 72 hours after your treatment
  • No self-tanning products should be used on the face for 24 hours after treatment, this can alter the colour of your tint

Depending on skin type, tint will last up to 1 week on the skin and up to 3 weeks on the hair. It’s important to also take the individual tint shade into consideration, darker colours generally last longer on the skin than lighter shades do. If you are really wanting a proper stain and something that last longer, we recommend you try our Henna Stain.

Before we begin the treatment, we perform an in-depth consultation to ensure we chose the ideal brow shade for you. We have a huge selection of light and dark tint colours that can be combined to create your perfect individualised shade.

Appointments are usually 30 minutes. Our Clinic prides itself on all of our services, therefore we take our time to ensure you leave with perfect, full & fluffy eyebrows every time.

Before we begin the treatment, we begin every brow service with an in-depth consultation to ensure we customise you the ideal brow shape. We then map out your individual brow shape using your current brow hair, face shape and anything you may have mentioned you would like to achieve in your consultation.

We recommend every 3-6 weeks depending on the look you like to keep.
