Danielle takes great pride in the Bobbie Charles brand and the relaxing sanctuary she’s created; she hasn’t missed a beat when planning the total customer journey. Her passion is making Bobbie Charles the best environment for clients and staff, which she does by researching the latest industry developments, sharing her knowledge and empowering everyone that walks through the door. You’ll see and feel her perfectionism when you come to the clinic and experience a treatment with her. Danielle is motivated all things to do with personal and professional growth and optimising her health and fitness.

It’s my chance to slow down, stop ‘doing’ and just ‘be’.”

Ever since she was young, Joan knew she wanted to pursue a career in beauty therapy. “I love anything related to beauty and how it can help you feel more confident and empowered. The beauty industry has also come so far, with the latest advancements making it an exciting time to be starting my career.”

Kiki
Dermal Therapist, Lash and Brow Technician
After spending 12 years in the body piercing industry, Kiki developed a keen interest in the science of skin and skincare – so whilst tending to your lash and brow treatments in clinic, she’s also studying to become a Dermal Therapist.
“I believe the impact and relationships we cultivate in our roles as therapists last a lifetime, and I’m excited to further my career in this industry.”
Kiki is somewhat an enigma, being born in Japan to an Australian mother and Japanese father, she’s also the only left-handed person in her extended family, including the BC team. Also, Kiki isn’t her real name! But she does share similarities with some of the team – as she grew up in Mackay (that’s three now!).
For many, being in the treatment room with Kiki is a chance to unwind and relax. Kiki is devoted to delivering the perfect experience, helping you feel amazing on the inside and outside.
Top Tip: “Take the advice from your technician. We have your best interest at heart to ensure you are getting the most out of your treatments. Consistency is key!”
Passions Beyond BC: “I’m obsessed with education – for myself and my clients. And if there’s something I’m not sure about, let’s find out together. When I’m not studying you’ll find me out walking my two dogs (Maverick and Goose), learning Auslan, moon gazing or brunching with friends. “
Nia
Senior Dermal Therapist
A combination of nurture and nerd, Nia’s passion lies in skin, and she loves to make her clients feel their most confident and empowered self through the power of her touch and expert knowledge.
Practically growing up in the industry, her first job in Year 10 was at a prestigious Brisbane salon, where she found her calling in beauty therapy and went on to study Dermal Science.
“I love treating skin concerns and making clients melt into the bed with my magic facial massage technique. Everyone truly deserves to treat themselves to a facial. That connection is so beautiful.”
The most calming demeanour combined with her wealth of knowledge and experience makes Nia an integral addition to the Bobbie Charles team – dedicating herself to delivering the perfect treatment every time.

With a diverse career spanning over 40 years, Lana brings a wealth of experience across multiple industries, including media, retail, financial planning, training, and now beauty.
Entirely self-taught in every role, she has developed expertise in administration, leadership, marketing, business support, and operations.
Known for being loyal, focused, and exceptionally reliable, Lana is a true multitasker who thrives on getting things done efficiently and effectively. She is driven by a passion for continuous learning and is committed to supporting the team’s success at every level.
Lana’s Top Tip:
Drink plenty of water to keep the skin plump and radiant, along with hydrating the skin with great quality products tailored to your own skin type. Get plenty of sleep and incorporate yoga and walking into your daily routine to aid with a healthy body and mind.
Lana’s Passions Beyond BC:
Getting away for short breaks as often as possible. Creating unique homewares from recycled materials with sustainability in mind. Nothing goes to waste! Spending time with my family and copius amounts of puppy cuddles with our very spoilt pooch.

I have been a Registered Nurse for 15 years, and did my grad program in Operating Theatre. Since then I have worked in Anaesthetics, Recovery, Corporate Health, Dermatology, Emergency, and for the past 9 Years Cosmetics. During my career, my roles have been quite diverse. Along with the standard caring for patients, I have also been responsible for ordering theatre equipment, stocktaking, liaising with sales reps and stock companies, creating Doctor Preference lists, staffing rosters, OH&S, and being in charge of patient lists. In my most recent roles as a cosmetic nurse, I have been in charge of my own patient list, which consists of laser hair removal, tattoo removal, fractional resurfacing (Co2), Fraxel, PDT, cool sculpting, INFINI (radio frequency needling), PRP, Botox for Hyperhydrosis, Q-switch laser for pigmentation, Pulse Dye laser for vascular lesions, BBL, fat dissolving, anti-wrinkle injections, and dermal fillers.
